Nokia India has today announced that its new smartphone model Lumia 1020 with 41 megapixel sensor in its camera, will be available in stores across the country. The company, which has announced the product earlier, said the it would be selling the model at a best buy price of Rs 49,999 for a handset.
The company would be offering complimentary insurance cover for a year at all leading stores and early bird offer with complimentary premium apps worth Rs 1000, and an EMI payment plan of six months through select banks.
When asked about the ban of Reserve Bank of India on the zero per cent EMI schemes, T S Sridhar, director - south, Nokia India said that the amount comes as interest would be met by the company.

The company has also announced new accessories like the Nokia Camera Grip, which are usually reserved for stand-alone cameras and a snap wireless charging shell, for the new model, with retail price at Rs 3199.
