Non-subsidized LPG price cut by Rs 42 per cylinder

The Oil Marketing Companies have announced a reduction of Rs 42 per 14.2 kilogram cylinder of non-subsidized cooking gas or Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) which consumers buy after exhausting their quota of 12 cylinders of subsidized cooking gas.

Post the price revision, a non-subsidized LPG cylinder will cost Rs 517.50 in Delhi. The prices were last cut by Rs 25.50 on 1 September, by Rs 23.50 on 1 August and by Rs 18 per cylinder to Rs 608.50 on 1 July. Subsidised LPG costs Rs 417.82 per cylinder in Delhi.

The oil companies have also hiked the price of non-subsidised kerosene, to Rs 43,181.56 per kilo liter, or Rs 43.18 per litre, from Rs 42,643.09 per kl. Subsidised kerosene currently costs Rs 14.96 a litre in Delhi. Also, the price of Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) or jet fuel was hiked by 5.5 per cent or Rs 2245.92 per kilolitre (kl) to Rs 43,184.16 per kl.
