Norwest Venture invests $6 mn in Attune

Funds will help company to accelerate growth of its cloud-based model in India and key global markets

Attune Technologies, a cloud-based healthcare IT product company, has raised $6 million from Norwest Venture Partners.

Arvind Kumar, CEO and Director, Attune Technologies said that the company experienced strong traction in both the Hospital Information System and Lab Information System divisions last year.

He added that these funds would enable the company to accelerate the growth of its cloud-based model in India and in key global markets.

Mohan Kumar, executive director, Norwest Venture said that the healthcare services market is growing rapidly in India and the ASEAN and MENA region with the certain of large chains of healthcare service providers.

"We believe that a cloud-based architecture naturally lends to integrating these large chains, bringing in operational efficiency and also integrating the various suppliers and partners in the healthcare ecosystem".

Attune's product architecture and the management team's expertise in developing national level EHR products all of which drove our invest decision.
