Nova Petro aims to double turnover

 NPL had registered a turnover of Rs 427 crore in fiscal ended March 31, 2003.

 Though yarn manufacturers faced difficulties in the first quarter owing to the transporters and weavers strikes, the company bounced back in the second quarter on the back of an increase in the demand for POY.

 NPL registered a net loss of Rs 3.65 crore in the first quarter because there were very little sales. It registered a profit of 9.11 crore in the quarter ended September 30.
