Novartis India FY06 net up 66%

Novartis has posted a up 66% increase in net profit at Rs 107.89 crore in FY06 as compred to Rs 65.12 crore in FY05.

According to an official release issued today, total income of the comany is Rs 591.93 crore in FY06 as compared to Rs 511.86 crore in FY05.Net profit for Q4FY06 is Rs 19.99 crore as compared to Rs 46 lakh in Q4FY05. Total income is Rs 121.52 crore in Q4FY06 as compared to Rs 97.51 crore in Q4FY05.

The board has recommended a dividend of 200% (Rs 10 per equity share) for FY06. The board has also recommended an additional one-time dividend of 100% (Rs 5 per equity share), the release said.
