Novartis India today reported a 13.94 per cent jump in its net profit at Rs 33.3 crore for the second quarter of the current financial year.
The company had a net profit of Rs 29.2 crore in the corresponding quarter of last fiscal.
The company’s total income too saw an increase of 5.62 per cent at Rs 169 crore income in the quarter ended September 30, 2009 as against Rs 160 crore in the corresponding quarter previous financial year.
The shares of the company settled at 528.65, down 2.03 per cent on the BSE today.
