Tata Indicom today became the first telecom operator in India to launch an online store - i-choose - for mobile connections.

Tata Indicom is committed to activation of the online application and free delivery of the chosen handset within three working days.

Darryl Green, CEO, Tata Teleservices, said: "As we move into the year of broadband, we want to take the lead by being the first service provider to introduce an online retail channel. With the introduction of i-choose, we hope to break away from the current clutter of mobile offers."
