NPPA revises three bulk drug prices

The National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA) has fixed/revised the prices of bulk drugs Phenyl Butazone, Aspirin and Ibuprofen.
 
According to a release issued on the website of the Press Information Bureau, the price of Phenyl Butazone has been fixed at Rs 352/Kg, aspirin at Rs 134/kg and Ibuprofen at Rs 384/kg.
 
"These notified prices were fixed/revised vide notification in the Gazette of India Extraordinary S.O.No.1133(E) to 1135(E), dated 15th October 2004," the release said, and added that the notifications are also available on the NPPA website: www.nppaindia.nic.in.
 
The revised notified prices shall become effective within 15 days from the date of notification in the official gazattee, the release said.
