NSL Consolidated, a bulk commodities company listed on the Australian Securities Exchange, has come forward to set up an iron ore pellets plant with an initial investment of Rs 1,000 crore in Telangana.
Company representatives on Wednesday met state chief minister K Chandrasekhara Rao and informed him about their plans. They said they were willing to set up the pellets plant using very low grade iron ore available in Medak and Karimnagar districts, according to an official press release here today.
NSL Consolidated is into iron ore production in India and thermal coal exploration in Australia, according to the company website.
