"The business plan of NTPC-Bhel Power Projects will be finalised by July 22," Ramesh said here.
A six-member search committee, headed by Ministry of Heavy Industries Secretary S N Dash, has been formed to appoint a CMD and two full time directors.
Their names are expected to be announced by July 31. Two part-time directors are already in place.
The JV firm, which plans to invest around Rs 5,630 crore in the next five years, would also have two part-time Directors besides on its board.
NTPC and Bhel formed this 50:50 JV firm on April 29 to carry out engineering procurement construction contracts for power plants and other infrastructure projects.
The two companies had entered into the JV agreement on December 17, 2007 and a supplementary agreement was signed on January 11.
