National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) has posted an increase of 2 per cent in its net profit to Rs 2,152 crore for the quarter ended September 30, against Rs 2,110.5 crore during the corresponding previous quarter.
Total income increased to Rs 11,524 crore during the quarter against Rs 10,406 crore during the previous corresponding quarter.
NTPC's shares were trading up 0.56 per cent at Rs 214.15 on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
