NTPC Q2 net up 27%

National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) has reported a 26.67% increase in net profit at Rs 1,473.9 crore for the second quarter ended September 2006 as against Rs 1,163.5 crore for Q2FY06.

According to the release issued by the company to the BSE, total income grew by 13.85% at Rs 7,464.3 crore as compared to Rs 6,555.9 crore in Q2FY06.
