NTPC Q2 net up 6%

National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) today reported a 6.35% increase in net profit at Rs 1,163.50 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2005 as against Rs 1,094 crore in the quarter ended September 30, 2004.

According to a release issued by the company to the BSE today,  total income increased to Rs 6,557.40 crore in Q2FY06 from Rs 5,777.50 crore in Q2FY05.
