NTPC Q3 net zooms 67%

National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) has reported a 67% surge in net profit to Rs 1365.5 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2004 as compared to Rs 819.1 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2003.

According to a release issued to the BSE, the total income has increased from Rs 5797.3 crore in Q3-03 to Rs 6270.6 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2004.
