NTPC signs MoU with DMRL

National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) and Defence Metallurgical Research Laboratory (DMRL) have signed an MoU.

According to a release issued by NTPC to the BSE, the company as per the MoU will provide technical and logistical support for the development of gas turbine blades, while DMRL will be responsible for development of casting, hipping and heat treatment.

The release further states that the NTPC will develop the specifications and would take care of mechanical testing of components at site. This project shall make available source of supply of critical equipment indigenously and also save foreign exchange.
