Public sector lender Oriental Bank of Commerce today reported a growth of 76 per cent in net profit at Rs 317 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2010, over the same period last year.
Total income rose to Rs 2,950.9 crore for the quarter ended March 31, from Rs 2,689 crore in the same period last fiscal, Oriental Bank of Commerce (OBC) said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
The board of the bank has proposed a dividend of Rs 9.10 per share for the year ended March 31.
For the year ended March 31, the company has posted a net profit of Rs 1,134 crore, up 27.42 per cent over the same period year-ago .
Shares of Oriental Bank of Commerce were trading at Rs 341 on BSE, up 1.49 per cent from previous close.
