OBT Global Private Limited, a city-based SAP implementation company, has launched three new SAP products for small and medium businesses (SMBs) in pharmaceutical, engineering and textiles sectors. |
The products "� OBTPharma, OBTEngg and OBTTextiles "� have been developed over the last two years at its development centre. The products are the outcome of its six-year experience in SAP solutions and implementation practice. |
OBT Global president Ramesh Kodali said that the three products were the first of its kind in the country, covering all the segments in their respective sectors. He said the products developed on mySAP All-in-One platform were prepackaged, industry-specific solutions with built-in content, tools and methodologies. |
OBTGlobal, which has a turnover of Rs 6 crore from its India operations and $2 million from job-works taken up abroad, is betting high on the new products. It expects them to help double the revenue during the current year. |
The company, which employs over 100 personnel at its development centre, will be ramping up the headcount by 20 per cent in the next one year. The company has recently shifted into a 10,000 sq ft office at Babukhan Millennium Centre. |
Ramesh said OBT Global was now gearing up to launch two more SAP solutions for the SMBs in chemicals and footwear industries in the next six months. |
A Srinivas Rao, sales director, small and midsize business, SAP India, said the new products would considerably cut down on time and costs of implementation. They could be deployed in about eight to 12 weeks as against the earlier time frame of five to six months. |
The minimum cost is now 30 per cent cheaper at Rs 25 lakh. SAP was rendering all necessary marketing and product support services for the new products, he added. |
