Omaxe-GVK-NCC to bid for Ganga Expressway

A consortium of real estate firm Omaxe, GVK Power & Infrastructure and Nagarjuna Construction Company has submitted an application with the department of infrastructure development, Uttar Pradesh to develop the eight-lane expressway from Greater Noida to Ghazipur under the Ganga Expressway Project.

The project, to be executed in four phases through a special purpose vehicle, is estimated to cost Rs 30,000 crore and cover 1,047 kms.

The first phase of 253 km from Greater Noida to Fatehgarh will comprise an indicative contract value of Rs 7,631 crore. The stretch from Fatehgarh to Dalmau is expected to cost Rs 8,012 crore while the distance between Dalmau to Aurai will incur indicative investments of Rs 6,124 crore. The last phase from Aurai to Ballia is estimated to be completed with an investment of Rs 8,025 crore.
