ONGC among top 25 global energy majors

Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has been ranked among the top 25 energy firms in the world.

"Continuing high crude oil prices helped the company to improve its share valuation (7.6%) and climb up to the 24th rank (as on December 31, 2004) in the PFC Energy 50 ranking," an official release said today.

ONGC was previously ranked 30th in the ranking, the release added.

PFC is an energy consulting firm specialising in the financial, strategic, commercial and political aspects of the international oil, gas and power industry.
