Ongc May Set Up 500 More Petrol Pumps

State-owned Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has been allowed to set up 500 more petrol pumps in the country. It was earlier permitted to set up 600 outlets.

The ONGC had proposed to set up additional outlets in Karnataka, Kerala, Goa and Pondicherry after it acquired a majority stake in Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL).
