ONGC Q1 net up 44%

Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) today reported a 44% increase in net profit at Rs 3,318.88 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2005 as against Rs 2,308.20 crore in Q1FY05.

According to a release issued by the company to the BSE today, total income increased to Rs 11,168.31 crore in Q1FY06 from Rs 10,596.33 crore in Q1FY05.
