ONGC ties up with Mumbai firm

Close on the heels of a $200 million investment in its SAP project, Oil & Natural Gas Corporation has signed a project worth $5 million with Mumbai-based IDE Infotech Ltd to implement automatic identification and data capture technologies.

"The project will allow ONGC to keep track of its inventory across the country through a wireless network and bar-coding of its products," said IDE Infotech Ltd Director Sameer Parikh.
