Optimum Media Solutions bags MRUC award

The Ahmedabad office of OMS, the media arm of Mudra Communications, has won the Media Research Users Council (MRUC) award, which was instituted by MRUC as a part of its 10th anniversary celebrations.
 
The award was instituted for media research users for innovative or outstanding usage of IRS data, stated a company press release.
 
Of the 16 entries, eight were invited to make a final presentation to the jury comprising of media specialists Roda Mehta, Divya Gupta and I Venkat. The presentation was held in Mumbai on January 25.
 
Entries were evaluated and assigned scores on parameters such as objective of data analysis, conceptual approach, data software application to meet the objective, end result and clarity of thought process, said the release.
 
The eight entries making it to the final round, comprised of five agencies, which included OMS Starcom, Media Directions, Initiative Media and Carat, two publications""Dainik Bhaskar and Malayala Manorama and one advertiser, Coke.
 
Kottayam-based Malyala Manorama won the silver award, while Media Directions, the media arm of R K Swamy BBDO, and Coke shared the bronze. The awards were presented by Paresh Nath, chairman, MRUC, the release further said.
