Opto bags US order

 These devices are designed for home use and have a large market potential due to ever increasing demand for in-home health monitoring.

 Opto will be producing these devices, and anticipates that this product line will add about $ 4 million in additional turnover by 2004-05. Opto commenced production and will ship the product in this quarter.

 With the current order pegged at 15,000 units of blood cholesterol monitoring device, it expects to ship similar volumes in the orders to follow.
