Orange Stanchart Global Credit Card Unveiled

Hutchison Max Telecom, the cellular operator in Mumbai, has tied up with Standard Chartered Bank to unveil the Orange Standard Chartered Visa Global credit card.

The co-branded credit card was unveiled here by Visa's brand ambassador Sachin Tendulkar. Jaspal Bindra, chief executive officer (CEO), Standard Chartered India, Sandip Das, CEO, Hutchison Max, and Santanu Mukherjee, country manager, Visa International, were also present at the function.

The card holder will get special benefits like STD/ISD deposit waiver, additional bonus and roaming points for use of Hutchison products and services. The user will also get offers like shopping, travel discounts and all other benefits of Standard Chartered Card including personal accident insurance, global automated teller machine access and cash advance facility. The other facilities include opportunities to join-in rewards programme entitling the users to earn multiple reward points which can be redeemed for Hutchison services, for purchases at Orange outlets or annual credit card fee. Hutchison has over 4 lakh users in Mumbai.

 

"Since the cellular tariffs have moved southwards, the tie-up would help the company attract additional subscribers by offering a value-added service," Das said.
