Chennai-based pharma major, Orchid Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals announced that it has received approvals from the US Food and Drug Administration (US FDA for three of its Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) for Cefuroxime for Injection, 750 mg and 1.5 g vials (infusion packs), 7.5 g (pharmacy bulk pack) and 1.5 g vial. In all, Orchid has secured 28 ANDA approvals till date.
