Orchid inks R&D deal with Pfizer

Orchid Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals has signed a long-term research & development agreement with Pfizer International.

According to a release issued by Orchid to the BSE today, the company will provide R&D services to Pfizer's animal health business. The agreement is for a period of seven years.

"Pfizer and the company are currently evaluating products and specific R&D services to be undertaken. The agreement also provides for addition of new products and services from time to time. The services will be provided out of the company's facilities in India," the release added.
