The RPG Group is planning to introduce its largest ever voluntary retirement scheme, in a bid to tackle the current slowdown.
The group is looking at offering a golden handshake to over 6,000 employees, out of a total strength of 63,000. The VRS will be offered across the group.
According to senior RPG Group officials, the management board held several meetings recently to work out the final structure of the VRS scheme, as also to narrow down the exact number of employees to be offered the scheme.
