According to S Santhosh, managing director, Enzyme Technologies, the company has drawn up a strategy to connect with the masses by unveiling products that are eco-friendly. The new products would come equipped with nano oxygen molecules for stain removal.
"A national presence would mean more capacity expansion," Santhosh said, adding that "the investment plan is being worked out and we will also have a new plant at the Kinfra land in Thiruvananthapuram in a few months from now."
The Tamil Nadu roll out is currently on. The company as part of this is setting up a new plant in the state, apart from the existing plant in Kerala.
The medical equipment and products manufacturer had diversified into the detergents business with its Oxywash brand last year. Oxywash, which was judged as one among the most successful brands of year 2007 by Business Standard, bagged the National Quality Excellence Award for 2008 recently. Besides, it will receive the Economic Development Forum for the Quality Excellence Award 2008 on June 26, he said.
Oxywash holds a 15 per cent share of the total detergent market in Kerala. It has 106 distributors, two stockists and over 5,000 retail outlets in Kerala, Santhosh said.
