Padmalaya Tele nets Rs 4 crore in Q2

 For the first-half of the current fiscal, the company recorded a net profit of Rs 9.13 crore on a sales income of Rs 52.86 crore.

 The company made a tax provision of Rs 4.11 crore for the half-year, as compared to that of Rs 2.80 crore.

 The newly launched cable division, through acquisition of Zee group's Siti Cable network in the state, added Rs 16.87 crore to the topline and Rs 1.73 crore to the operating profit of the company in the first-half.
