Padmanabhan moves from TCS to Tata Power

S Padmanabhan has been appointed as director and executive director (Operations) of Tata Power with effect from February 6, 2008.

According to a release issued by Tata Power to the BSE today, Padmanabhan was the executive director & head (global human resources development) of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS).

The release added that Banmali Agrawala has been appointed as director and executive director (strategy & business development) effective February 15, 2008. Agrawala is currently the managing director of Wartsila India.

Ajoyendra Mukherjee will take over from Padmanabhan at TCS. Mukherjee was vice president and head of eastern opearations of TCS.
