Pantaloon value retail chain 'Brand Factory' in offing

Pantaloon Retail-India will shortly roll out Brand Factory, which is a value retail chain offering fashion brands at factory prices under one roof.

This new format is to revolutionise value-shopping which is currently estimated at Rs 35,000-40,000 crore in the country and brings to the consumer the best Indian and global brands at a discount, Vishnu Prasad, president-South & CEO-Central of Brand Factory, said.

The company's first Brand Factory outlet, spread over 1 lakh sq.ft, is to come up at Marathahalli on the outskirts of Bangalore.

The second outlet is to come up at Abids in Hyderabad. Both these stores will be launched in October. The third outlet is planned for Ahmedabad. The company has plans to set up and operate 55 outlet in 40 cities by 2010.
