Pizza service restaurant chain Papa John's is planning to expand its presence in the country by increasing its number of outlets from the current 70 to 100 this year. The company would also look at raising funds, said Joseph Cherian — CEO, Papa John's India.
The company, which claims as the third largest pizza restaurant chain in India after Dominos and Pizza Hut, has its presence in the Southern and Western markets of the country.
It currently has 65 outlets in South and five in West, in Maharashtra.
"We are planning to add another 30 outlets to reach 100 outlets by the end of this year. The expansion will be in southern and western markets," he said.
The company is looking at options to raise funds. However, he refused to reveal more on the plans. It is also keen on developing new products to grab the market, he said.
