Paramount Pharma, a group company of Piramal Life Sciences, has acquired 4.77% stake in the latter, Piramal Life told exchanges today.
Paramount bought 1.21 million shares today, upon which its stake has gone up to 11.25% in the company.
Piramal Life's shares were trading at Rs 111.45, nearly 5.29% higher than Tuesday's close.
