Parsvnath to set up IT SEZ in Dehradun

Realty major Parsvnath Developers is setting up an IT special economic zone (SEZ) at Dehradun with an investment of Rs 1,050 crore. The project will be executed by the company's subsidiary Parsvnath SEZ Ltd.
 
The SEZ will come up in 35 acres with 3.8 million square feet available for development. The SEZ will provide infrastructure facility for the development of IT-related offices and industries in the unexplored region.
 
Parsvnath Developers Ltd chairman Pradeep Jain said, "The project will be executed by our subsidiary, Parsvnath SEZ Ltd. It will cater to the specialised needs of investors keen on setting up world-class IT facilities in the region."
 
The proposed IT SEZ has already been approved by the government.
 
The SEZ will come up at Sahasardhara Road area in Dehradun.
 
With this approval, the company now has three notified product-specific SEZs at Indore, Gurgaon and Dehradun.
 
The company also has two approved SEZs at Kochi and Hyderabad spread over 11 million sq ft, which is awaiting the Centre's approval.
 
The company also has six SEZs with total area of 270 million square feet that have received in-principle approval from the Centre.
