Patel Engineering profit up 27% to Rs 41 cr

Construction company Patel Engineering today said its net profit rose by 26.76 per cent to Rs 40.69 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2009, over the same period last year.

Net sales rose to Rs 607.98 crore in the July-September quarter against Rs 441.81 crore in the same period last fiscal, the construction company said in a filing to the BSE.

Shares of Patel Engineering were trading at Rs 440 on the BSE, down 2.27 per cent from its previous close.
