Peerless Travel in pact with Thomas Cook

Peerless Travel, a Peerless group company, today announced its partnership with Thomas Cook (India) Ltd as its Gold Circle partner in the eastern India.
 
The Kolkata-based company rechristened as Kaizen Leisure & Holidays Pvt Ltd, would be focusing on outbound clients to Europe and South East Asian countries.
 
"Our partnership with Thomas Cook is targeted at strengthening our presence and penetration in domestic and international travel as an integrated service provider. As the Gold Circle partner, we would impart quality service to the discerning travelers with the entire range of Thomas Cook products," said Jayanta Roy, director Kaizen Leisure & Holidays Pvt Ltd.
 
The leisure travel market has a huge potential and we are looking at a growth of around 30 per cent in the next three years, he added.
 
The company is also looking to rope in a foreign distribution partner. "We are negotiating with a Middle East-based distribution company and it should be finalised in six months' time," Roy said while briefing the media.
 
Kaizen would offer a wide range of leisure travel related services which includes air ticketing, tour organisation, passport and visa assistance, hotel booking, car and cash rentals, package tours and HR programmes.
 
"We would also look at providing elaborate event management services for the corporate customers including product launches, conference, training seminars road shows etc," he added.
 
Currently 85 per cent of the revenue is generated from the corporate clients and the rest from retail. The new entity is eying a revenue of Rs 10 crore in the next financial year.
