Pepsi India Chief Slams Cse Testing Method

PepsiCo India Managing Director Rajeev Bakshi today slammed the test methodology used by the Centre for Science and Environment to test soft drink samples.

The centre had announced that the 12 soft drink brands of Coca-Cola and Pepsi contained more pesticides than the permissible limit.

Bakshi said the centre claimed to have used the USEPA 8141a method, in which there was scope for serious deviations from the standardised methodology.
