Petronet not to sell equity to RasGas

Petronet LNG, in a release issued to the BSE, has denied various news items that was shown on the leading news channels yesterday.

The company said it has plans to float Rs 400 crore (approx) ADB Guaranteed Bond programme to repay the existing high cost long terms loans and not Rs 1000 crore. It would not issue fresh captial to RasGas as proposed earlier, until the company issue fresh capital in future.

The company also said that the capex plan of about Rs 3000 crore for Dahej expansion project and Kochi project would be incurred progressively over a period of next four years, the release added.
