<b>Petronet Q1</b>: Net profit up 43%

Petronet LNG Ltd today reported a 43% increase in net proft at Rs 56.08 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2006 when compared with Rs 39.13 crore in Q1FY06.

According to company officials, net sales increased 10% to Rs 1,019.08 crore from Rs 921.23 crore in Q1FY06. The income from operations include Rs 8.34 crore from regassifying a spot cargo of LNG, they added.
