Piramal Healthcare standalone Q2 net up 64% at Rs 114 cr

Piramal Healthcare, part of the Piramal group, has posted a rise of 64.4 per cent in its net profit at Rs 114.22 crore  on the standalone basis for the quarter ended 30 September compared with Rs 69.44 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. The company's total income for the quarter grew to Rs 711.59 crore from Rs 636.9 crore, up 11.73 per cent.

On the consolidated basis, the company's net profit stood at Rs 106.27 crore, up 44.8 per cent from Rs 73.39 crore last year in the same period. The consolidated total income increased to Rs 999.99 crore against Rs 889.3 crore, up 12.44 per cent.

 

The earning per share stood at Rs 5.1 against last year's Rs 3.5.

On the Bombay Stock Exchange, the company's shares traded at Rs 365, down 4.82 per cent at IST 1508.
