Best described as Scandinavian music that blends gently with pop music, an art refined by The Beatles, Elton John and Billy Joel, Michael Learns To Rock (MLTR) sure has the rhythm to get many swooning.

The group will be in India to win over its fans in Bangalore, Mumbai and Shillong on September 25, September 28 and October 1 respectively. The tour, 'Take Me To Your Heart', is being organised by Planman Life and the hospitality partner is ITC Grand Maratha Sheraton & Towers in Mumbai and ITC Hotel Windsor Sheraton & Tower at Bangalore.

Says Jascha Richter, the lead singer and keyboard player, "India is one of the dream destinations for MLTR since all our albums are a phenomenal success here. Our tour is MLTR's tribute to all our fans."

The agency 360 degrees' multimedia strategy is being used for concert promotion. The show sponsors also include Chateau Indage,

Dabur Active, Channel V, TRIG and Cafe Coffee Day. Planman is looking to sell 6,000 to 8,000 tickets in Bangalore and Mumbai, while the target is 15,000 for Shillong.

Arindam Chaudhuri, CMD, Planman Consulting Group claims: "December will see another music legend perform in India. We could also have musical or theatre awards."
