Polaris Software, a financial technology company, today reported 42 per cent increase in the net profit to Rs 45.74 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2010 as against Rs 32.11 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
Revenue of the company grew by four per cent to Rs 351.04 crore from Rs 337.25 crore in the fourth quarter of 2008-09.
The board of directors has recommended a final dividend of 35 per cent on the paid up capital of the company for the financial year 2010.
For the financial year 2009-10, it reported 17 per cent increase in net profit to Rs 152.84 crore from Rs 130.71 per cent in 2008-09. Revenue stood at Rs 1353.76 crore.
At Bombay Stock Exchange, the company’s shares were trading at Rs 181.2 at 1:39 pm up 1.17 per cent from its previous close.
