Polka Dots to come up with more outlets

Inn Venue Hospitality Management, proprietors of the Polka Dots restaurants in Pune, has decided to increase its outlets in Pune and extend the brand to other cities in the country.
 
Rajendra Kelshikar, director, Inn Venue Hospitality Management, said the company plans to expand its chain of Polka Dots restaurants to four in the city by adding two more in 2 years. These will be at Kothrud and Wanowrie and will be set up with an estimated investment of Rs 1 crore.
 
In the next stage, the company will take the Polka Dots to the other cities in India.
 
"All the Polka Dots outlets in the city would be set up and managed by the company while we would seek partnerships for cities outside Maharashtra.
 
Inn Venue will also invest in these outlets and would continue to be operationally involved," Kelshikar said. The two Polka Dots restaurants are in the 'dine in' category and serve authentic Indian food in addition world cuisine comprising European, South East Asian, Mexican and American food.
 
Inn Venue also runs Baker's Basket, a chain of bakery products in Pune. Since its beginning in 1999 Baker's Basket has opened seven outlets in the city.
 
The company was formed by Rajendra Kelshikar who was the general manager at Hotel Blue Diamond before it was taken over by the Tatas, and Ravish Arora who was the chief chef at the hotel then.
