Powersoft Global Solutions, the country’s fastest growing radio frequency identification (RFID) company, has introduced the first automated, off-the-shelf and versatile RFID solution, which the company plans to offer at a cost-effective prices to the SME sector.
The new offering includes an integrated approach to RFID tracking. The solution includes three components: several new versatile UHF RFID Tags; three new UHF Gen 2 hand held readers; and RFID manager, an RFID software solution.
Without accurate product information, small and medium enterprises face invoicing problems, shipment discrepancies and out-of-shock conditions, all of which can significantly impact their bottom line. RFID provides the mechanism for tracking of goods moving throughout the supply chain, greatly reducing unwanted business situations.
Despite many proven advantages, the SME sector has been slow to adopt RFID. This has mainly been due to cost, performance and customisation issues.
