Praj Q2 profit up 2.3 times

Praj Industries, the integrated process solutions provider for bio fuels, brewery, water and waste water and process equipment has announced its financial results and posted rise in its net profit to Rs 20.53 crore for the quarter ended on June 30, 2011 which is up by 2.3 times as compared to Rs 8.9 crore in the last year.

The company recorded its revenues at Rs 228.90 crore for the quarter showing a rise of 110 per cent from Rs 108.77 crore in the last quarter of the same year. "We are seeing growth in sales and order booking across three consecutive quarter which is very encouraging. Our order book has also seen a growth during this fiscal. We hope to keep the tempo in line with prevailing external conditions" said Pramod Chaudhari, executive chairman of the company.
