Pratibha Industries bags orders worth Rs 772 cr

Infrastructure company Pratibha Industries today said it has bagged orders worth Rs 772 crore in the building and water management segments.

"With these, the balance order book of the company stands at Rs 6,568 crore as on December 30, 2011, while total orders bagged in the current financial year to date are worth Rs 3,350 crore," Pratibha Industries said in a statement.

Of the total orders worth Rs 772 crore, Rs 153 crore was from realty firm Rustomjee Realty for carrying out civil and structural work under a housing project at Andheri, Mumbai.

"The project is to be competed within 26 months," it said.

Pratibha's building division also bagged a Rs 136 crore order from Tata Housing Development Company for construction of 23 buildings at Kalyan, in Maharashtra. However, the contract does not include the cost of cement, steel and shuttering.

The water division of the infrastructure firm has bagged orders from Gujarat Water Infrastructure and Dhaka Water and Sewerage Authority in Bangaladesh worth Rs 403 crore and Rs 80 crore, respectively.

Pratibha said both the orders are to be executed in a year.
