Apparel firm Provogue India today reported 70.80% decline in net profit at Rs 1.81 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2012.
The company had logged a net profit of Rs 6.20 crore in the same period in the previous fiscal.
Its net sales for the three months ended March 31, 2012 also declined 2.80% to Rs 162.02 crore, against Rs 166.69 crore, Provogue India said in a filing to the BSE.
The company's net profit for the year ended March 31, 2012 declined 25.05% to Rs 25.03 crore, from Rs 33.40 crore in 2010-11.
Its net sales in 2011-12, however, increased 7.81% to Rs 593.07 crore, from Rs 550.07 crore in 2010-11.
The company's board of directors has recommended a dividend of Re 0.10 (ie. 10%) per equity share of face value of Re one each for the financial year 2011-12.
Shares of the company remained unchanged at Rs 13 apiece as compared to its previous closing on BSE.
