Global advertising and communication firm Publicis today said it has decided to split its group firm in India Solutions Digitas into two separate companies -- Digitas India and Solutions India.
"The market in India is approaching a technology tipping point and digital services will increasingly become an in-demand expertise," Digitas International President Stephan Beringer said in a statement.
While Digitas India will focus on core areas -- strategy and planning, content and creative, technology, media analytics and customer relationship management, Solutions India will focus on digital and technology enabled marketing services.
Digitas is a global integrated brand agency, which builds active brands for companies globally.
Kanika Mathur has been named the President of Digitas India and she reports to Vincent Digonnet, President of Network Operations, APAC, Digitas.
"We expect a 30-40% year-on-year digital spending growth in India. It's an exciting time for our industry," Mathur said.
