Pulse Foods India Private Ltd, the greenfield hospitality initiative, promoted by the Poddar Heritage Group, opened its twelfth restaurant at Sahara Ganj in Lucknow.

This is the first Pulse restaurant in the city and the third in UP. The other two are in Noida and Ghaziabad.

Pulse serves Indian food in the express service format, where the food is served within ten minutes of placing the order.

"We serve north Indian food. Our strength is that we are a food technology-driven company with automated processes," Pulse Foods Chief Executive Officer Neeraj Jain said.

Pulse Foods' chief merit is the standardisation of the products, being planned across the chain. "We even revise our menu cards every six months," he added. Pulse Foods is also planning to open restaurants abroad.

The first one will be opened in London, by the end of this month, followed by Dubai and Muscat. In India, Delhi will be the next city where Pulse Foods will open shop.
